The Club Referee Power Rankings have returned for 2021 with our first update on how our clubs rate based on how many active graded members hold a current club referee qualification. All players competing in interclub and tournaments are expected to have a good basic understanding of the rules of squash, and one way to measure this is by ensuring as many players as possible have completed the online club referee exam and passed. Once completed, the qualification is valid for two years.
The exam consists of 50 multi-choice questions and takes around 15 minutes to complete. Anyone can head to the Squash NZ website and have a go at completing it here.
Players can check if they have a valid qualification by logging into their iSquash account, going to the 'Edit My Profile' page, and then clicking on the 'Qualifications' tab.
Alternatively, each month we will upload a complete list of all Auckland players who have a current qualification. This can be found on the 'Refereeing' page on our website here
