In a collaboration between Squash Auckland and Parafed Auckland, the National Squash Centre hosted a Para Squash Open Day on Sunday March 14 giving an opportuntity for those with disabilities the opportunity to come and try a new sport. Guided by Squash Auckland coaches, players had to chance to get on court and use the bouncier racketball gear and test their skill which included one playing from her wheelchair - which she absolutely loved!
Further opportunities are currently being discussed with the hope of having more regular dedicated sessions of 'Para Squash' available in the future.
