The New Zealand Masters Championships are contested annually and represent the pinnacle of national competition for New Zealand masters. The championships were first played in 1982, and this year the hosts will be the Otago Squash Club in conjunction with the Taieri Squash Club. 

The individual championships will be held from 7-9 October, with the interdistrict teams event following from the 10th-12th.  The individuals will be played in 5 year age group brackets from 35+ to 75+ for the Men and 35+ to 65+ for the Women.
