Squash NZ have announced the finalists for the 2016 Squash NZ National Awards, which will be presented at the National Awards Ceremony on Saturday December 3.
Auckland is well-represented in the list of finalists, with local Squash Auckland Awards winner being put forward to the national awards. Club of the Year Royal Oak has made the short-list, and will be up against Hamilton Squash & Tennis Club (Waikato), Mt Maunganui Squash Club (Bay of Plenty) and the Mana Squash Club (Wellington).
Others from the Auckland squash community to be short-listed include;
Volunteer of the Year - Joanna Smales (Henderson)
Club & School Coach of the Year - Jarrod van Driel (Browns Bay)
Performance Coach of the Year - Paul Hornsby (North Shore)
